The Trinity Uptown Plan removes major sections of the existing trails to be replaced within the higher density urban developments along the waterfronts and to build new levee trails along the new By-Pass Channel.

The Alternate Plan maintains almost all of the existing trail system and adds to it within the interior areas, and it maintains the park-like atmosphere along the river and the bluff.
